Job Overview:

The Creative Content Editor will play a pivotal role in capturing and editing engaging content for Jason Emer MD’s dermatological and cosmetic surgery practice. This individual will manage social media accounts across various platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, and more, and will use creative discretion to capture content from surgeries, patient testimonials, and in-office procedures. The Creative Content Editor will be responsible for developing innovative strategies to grow the practice’s online presence, enhance brand visibility, and drive engagement while ensuring all content aligns with business goals.


Key Responsibilities:

Creative Direction & Content Strategy

  • Lead content creation with creative discretion, ensuring all posts are engaging, on-brand, and strategically aligned with Dr. Emer's goals.
  • Serve as the Creative Director, advising on the best angles, strategies, and content for capturing the practice's work and generating engagement.
  • Deliver a cross-platform strategic content calendar, reviewed bi-weekly, to align with business objectives and maximize engagement.
  • Ensure all content is captured following photo guidelines to maintain consistency and quality.

Content Creation & Innovation

  • Capture content from a variety of sources, including surgeries, procedures, patient testimonials, product shots, and collaborations.
  • Edit and post content with compelling captions and creative storylines across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, etc.).
  • Introduce and implement two new industry trends per week to keep content fresh and ahead of competitors.
  • Regularly update post visuals, thumbnails, and content to maintain engagement and reflect evolving trends.
  • Use AI tools and a "smarter, not harder" approach to maximize content output.

Lead Generation & Growth

  • Increase organic leads from social media by 10% month-over-month through innovative content strategies.
  • Grow followers, engagement, and lead generation on platforms like Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, Yelp, LinkedIn, and more.
  • Create and execute monthly campaigns to drive measurable growth in leads and followers.
  • Adjust strategies as needed based on performance analytics to ensure continued growth.

Analytics & Reporting

  • Provide weekly analytic reports on engagement, views, leads, growth, and follower statistics across all platforms.
  • Monitor content performance and adjust strategies based on key metrics to improve overall engagement and reach.
  • Track engagement metrics such as post views, follower growth, and interaction rates to ensure optimization.

Engagement & Interaction

  • Actively engage with followers across platforms, responding to comments and building a positive, professional relationship.
  • Monitor and respond to followers in a way that reinforces Dr. Emer's brand image and reputation.
  • Ensure all engagement is aligned with brand voice and standards.

Competitive Analysis & Strategy

  • Conduct weekly competitive analysis to understand industry trends and competitor strategies, proposing actionable ideas for improvement.
  • Stay updated with the latest social media features and trends, experimenting with new tools to maximize platform engagement.

Collaboration & Teamwork

  • Work cross-functionally with other departments to align on creative direction and ensure cohesive brand storytelling.
  • Foster positive communication with Dr. Emer, offering creative insights and feedback to enhance content quality and engagement.
  • Ensure all content produced meets brand standards and effectively communicates the clinic’s message.

  • Consistently meet growth and engagement targets.
  • Meet deadlines for content updates, campaign execution, and analytics reporting.


Qualifications:

  • Proven expertise in content creation for social media platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and Snapchat.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere Pro) or similar tools.
  • Comfort with filming surgical procedures and patient interactions.
  • Experience in growing and nurturing social media accounts, with a focus on organic lead generation.
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A willingness to learn and immerse in the dermatological and cosmetic surgery field.
