Senior Electrical Engineer

Position: We are seeking an experienced Sr. Electrical Engineer to join our talented R&D team. The ideal candidate will have a background in electrical engineering, preferably with experience in military and defense markets, although other technical experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Work with cross-functional teams on new product development and R&D activities.
  • Design and document electrical interfaces, prepare electrical circuit schematics for power converters, filters, and logic circuits.
  • Deep knowledge of analog circuits and power supply topologies (Buck, Boost, Flyback, etc.).
  • Understanding of micro-controllers and interface drivers such as I2C, SPI, UART, ADC
  • Ensure design maturity and debug prototype hardware, working autonomously.
  • Define and support system level EOL procedures and test equipment.
  • Participate in design and project reviews with suppliers, virtually and in-person.

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Resident status.
  • BS in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design, or equivalent.
  • Deep knowledge of analog circuits and power supply topologies (Buck, Boost, Flyback, etc.).
  • Understanding of micro-controllers and interface drivers such as I2C, SPI, UART, ADC
  • 5+ years of experience designing, hardware engineering, analog engineering, or power engineering.
  • Familiarity with DC/DC power supply topologies.
  • Understanding of hardware evaluation methodologies, including the development of test cases/suites, performance analysis, test automation, and data analysis.
  • Extensive experience with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, thermal chambers, and other test equipment.
  • C# programming skills are an advantage.
  • VHDL/Verilog/C knowledge is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of feedback control loops is an advantage.

  • Proficiency with EAGLE, MATLAB, Python, and experience with software (C/Python) is a plus.
