Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team at TJC and Associates, Inc. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the design and development of electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities.


Responsibilities



  • Assist with project planning, scoping, proposing, staffing, and coordinating the technical activities of the team.
  • Responsible for designing power systems, lighting, and control systems for water and wastewater treatment structures and other facilities.
  • Ensure that the overall engineering objectives are met, and that progress is communicated.
  • Participate in the evaluation of project staff performance and provide feedback.
  • Prepare intermediate to complex drawings, design calculations, estimates, specifications, and reports.
  • Develop an understanding of all electrical codes and software used in the design of TJCAA client projects.
  • Interact with clients, contractors, and/or subcontractors to obtain technical data and information necessary for electrical designs.
  • Prepare project deliverables using TJCAA standards and practices.

Requirements



  • 5 -12 years' working experience in electrical engineering.
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from a four-year, accredited college or university.
  • Professional Engineer License (P.E.) in CA.
  • Electrical engineering professional experience related to the design of power, lighting, and control systems for water and wastewater treatment structures and other facilities preferred.
