Commercial Insurance Account Executive

Responsibilities:
- Manager & retain a large book of business - approx 3M revenue - by providing excellent customer service, a proactive renewal process, negotiating with carriers & underwriters, utilizing internal resources, and by collaborating with other internal teams.
- Strong focus on relationship management with clients. Must be comfortable leading client and carrier meetings & having continuous, clear, and professional verbal and written communication.
- Issuing certificates, auto id cards, processing endorsement requests, policy checking, renewal pricing, billing issues, invoicing, and contract reviews
- Properly utilize & direct assistant account managers to assist with above tasks.
- Address any deficiencies and anticipate client needs with a quick turnaround time.
- Confidently & accurately answer client situational questions with respect to insurance coverage and advise about uncovered exposures as applicable.
- Responsible for learning, understanding, and adhering to our internal timelines, protocols, and workflows.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Active P&C License. Designations are a plus.
- 10+ years of P&C experience. Non-profit experience is a plus.
- Forward-thinking with a strong sense of urgency.
- Experienced with Agency Management Systems, preferably Applied EPIC
- Highly comfortable with using various types of computer technology in a face-paced environment
