Reports To: Director of Information Technology


Position Overview:


We are currently seeking an experienced Jr. Systems Administrator/Helpdesk to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service to our staff members. As a Jr. Systems Administrator/Helpdesk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our hardware and software systems, providing technical assistance to employees, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our IT infrastructure.


Responsibilities: 


• Offering software and hardware assistance to staff members.

• Conducting setups, installations, and configurations of various IT equipment.

• Assisting in the maintenance of our network infrastructure.

• Diagnosing and resolving technical issues promptly and effectively.

• Collaborating with team members on hardware and software setups for different departments.

• Managing user access and network configurations securely.

• Supporting extracurricular activities and community programs that require IT assistance.

• Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the workspace to ensure a safe and productive environment.

• Evaluating and recommending hardware and software purchases based on organizational needs.

• Performing operations on PC, Mac, Google, Android, and Chrome platforms.

• Repairing and configuring network equipment as required.

• Maintaining accurate records of all service activities to track progress and ensure accountability.

• Following instructions and establishing cooperative relationships with team members to achieve common goals.

• Planning and executing tasks within specified deadlines to meet organizational objectives.

• Ensuring ethical data handling practices and maintaining confidentiality at all times.

• Providing on-site assistance and maintenance as necessary to address IT issues promptly.

• Supporting multimedia systems when needed to facilitate presentations and events.

• Utilizing JAMF to manage Apple devices efficiently.


Skills and Qualifications:


• Graduation from a technical school or equivalent experience.

• Proficiency with Microsoft and Apple products.

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair computer systems efficiently.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well both independently and within a team.

• Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively and respond promptly to emergencies.

• Dedication to maintaining accurate maintenance records and upholding ethical data handling practices.
