Job Details:
Our company is seeking an experienced US contract Surveyor for multiple ongoing contract engagements, typically 4-5 weeks per duration. This will pay a daily rate depending on experience level.

We are seeking a dynamic and challenging role in our Engineering department. This position will involve working on a range of exciting projects, including marine surveying, data processing, GIS mapping and more. Scope: Pipeline

Mobilization Dates: Oct 9th.
Travel dates: begins either 7th or 8th Oct.
Duration: 30 days, with ongoing similar-duration projects available frequently in the future

Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Survey Engineer, your primary duties will include:

1. Conducting comprehensive surveys using a variety of techniques and equipment including 2 x ROVs
2. Processing and analyzing survey data using advanced software and technologies including Sonardyne Fusion 2, 4DNAV
3. Producing detailed, accurate maps and reports using cartographic skills.
4. Implementing and monitoring quality assurance and quality control protocols to ensure the highest level of data integrity and accuracy.
5. Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement project plans and strategies.
6. Providing expert advice and consultation to clients and stakeholders on a range of surveying and engineering topics.
7. Keeping abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continuously improve our surveying processes and outputs.
8. Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
9. Training and mentoring junior staff members in surveying techniques and equipment usage.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Consulting Survey Engineer position, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the Engineering industry.
3. Proficiency in cartography, GIS, data processing, and QA/QC.
4. Hands-on experience with survey equipment including RTK, PPK, single beam, CTD, and tide gauge.
5. Ability to read sound velocity profiles and interpret related data.
6. Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and make decisions under pressure.
8. Proficiency in using industry-standard software and technologies.
9. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and professionalism.
