Job Description:


Meelo Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team in the Palm Springs area. This part-time position (20+ hours per week) involves supervising and training paraprofessionals in local school districts, ensuring high-quality support for students with special needs.



Key Responsibilities:


- Training and Supervision: Provide ongoing training and support to paraprofessionals in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques. Ensure they are equipped with the necessary skills to support students effectively


- Collaboration: Act as the primary point of contact with school district personnel. Communicate regularly to discuss provider progress, behavioral strategies, and any concerns that may arise.


- Schedule Management: Oversee the scheduling of paraprofessionals to ensure adequate staffing and coverage for students' needs.


- Internal Communication: Work closely with Meelo Education’s internal teams to communicate hiring needs, training requirements, and other relevant information regarding staff performance and student support.


- Data Analysis: Monitor and analyze data related to student behavior and progress, using this information to inform training and intervention strategies.



Qualifications:


- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or a related field.

- Current BCBA certification.

- Experience working with individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder or other behavioral challenges.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

- Familiarity with school district policies and special education laws is a plus.
