Job Title: Parts Support Specialist                                 

Department: Santee Branch Parts and Service Departments

Reports to: San Diego General Manager                                        

 

Job Summary:

Provide exceptional customer service for all needs of the Santee Branch. Position works under minimal supervision. Communicate thoroughly with all departments, speak with customers in person, over the phone or by email and update the status of their parts orders.  Receive and stock parts for work orders and for stock. Maintain and organize inventory shelves and shipping and receiving counter. Coordinate shipment and freight for parts coming into and leaving the branch. Check in/out units for rental department. Able to cover duties of the Branch Supervisor when needed. 

 

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Service the customer.
  • Track service parts orders from the factory and notify the customer of any delays or updates.
  • Assist and communicate closely with the Service Technician and Territory Rep.
  • Communicate and work closely with all departments within the company.
  • Place parts orders for service dept. and customers.
  • Receive and inspect all parts shipments.
  • Stock parts on warehouse shelf.
  • Assist service and parts departments with parts inventory control.
  • Be a liaison for web site leads.

·        Process credit card transactions.

·        Drive up selling opportunities and build parts revenue.

·        Build parts revenue through new opportunities.

·        Report high level concerns that do not meet our vision to Branch General Manager

·        Provide supervision to achieve the highest levels of customer service, employee satisfaction, profitability, and maintain TAP principles.

  • Strong time management and prioritization skills.

·        Establish and maintain positive long-term relationships with customers, suppliers, manufacturers, and business partners

·        Willingness to get dirty if needed to get the job done.

·        Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

·        Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time.

·        Constantly position self to perform needed repairs and installations.

·        Frequently moves objects up to 25 pounds to work area when needed.

·        Must be able to detect hazardous fumes.

·        Must have and maintain a clean driving record

·         High School Diploma or equivalent.

 

Preferred Skills/Abilities:

·        Bilingual (English/Spanish).

·        Bachelor’s degree.

·        At least two years related experience.

·        Experience using ERP or CRM systems.

·        Commercial Driver’s License Class A or B.
