RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER

  • Design, implement, and manage robust network security solutions to safeguard the organization's digital assets.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing to identify and address potential threats.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and enforce security policies and procedures.
  • Utilize expertise in CrowdStrike or Palo Alto to deploy, configure, and optimize security tools and technologies.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve security-related issues in a timely manner.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE FOR THE NETWORK SECURITY ENGINEER

  • Proven experience as a Network Security Engineer or a related role.
  • In-depth knowledge of SIEM, network protocols, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and VPN technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with security solutions such as CrowdStrike or Palo Alto.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, CCNP Security) are a plus.
