Medicare Inside Sales Specialist

Duration: 4 months contract (temp to perm opportunity)
*Note: Candidate can be fully remote however needs to be in Massachusetts. It is still a remote role, but we’d like candidates to be residents of Massachusetts, no other states will be considered. We may also ask candidates come to the office once every 2 weeks once they become full time, hence the requirement.
There’s a commission structure per month at target. Can go higher. AHIP & Health Insurance License is needed.
Summary
Inside Sales Agent is responsible for the sale of all company’s Medicare products to prospective members. The Agent is a sales professional and an effective communicator that understands the sales process. The Agent is comfortable with a call center environment and is passionate about helping people.
Responsibilities
Take inbound calls, qualify prospects and assist them in selecting and appropriate plan from our portfolio of products; properly manage a pipeline of leads by consistently making outreach attempts (calls, emails, notecards), providing requested materials and assisting prospects through the sales cycle; explain our product benefits in a way that is compliant with CMS guidelines; properly use the sales call center tools - CRM (for data entry and lead management), soft phone, TTY software, etc.; meet or exceed sales goals; maintain the required licensing and certification (Health Producer's License and AHIP certification).
Requirements
- 2-3 years sales experience or an understanding of the sales process
- Active Massachusetts Health Producer’s license or the ability to obtain it pre-hire
- AHIP Certification
- The drive and motivation to learn and succeed
Preferred Knowledge
- 1-2 years’ experience with Medicare, managed care, and/or health insurance industry
- Previous experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce
