Looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our project team in our Peachtree Corners, GA office. Our goal is to provide the highest level of engineering service to our clients. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will design Mechanical systems on a variety of projects. A successful candidate can expect to gain valuable engineering experience in designing HVAC and plumbing systems, planning and analyzing mechanical systems for a variety of projects including but not limited to: high rise office buildings, general and medical office space, hospitality/hotels, educational facilities, distribution centers, manufacturing, retail and other commercial/industrial/institutional projects.

Primary Responsibilities

· Lead the designing and specifying of HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, control systems. Perform load calculations, equipment sizing, and selection for assigned projects.

· Communicate with clients, contractors and other project team members as needed to support project design.

· Generate construction documents using AutoCAD/Revit.

· Manage multiple projects through design through completion of construction.

· Coordinate with design team professionals of other disciplines as they perform their designs to ensure proper coordination on construction documents.

· Research and apply applicable codes to design.

· Perform project site visits during design and construction to ensure proper implementation of the design documents.

Qualifications

· Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or equivalent BSMT

· 4+ years of related engineering experience

· Professional Engineer License required.

Skills

· Strong interpersonal skills and experience maintaining successful client relationships

· Effective oral and written communication skills

· Strong ability to self-manage and multitask

· Strong attention to detail

· Strong organizational skills

· Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Excel, and Word

· AutoCAD and Revit experience preferred
