About the Position

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Professional Design Services team. The ideal candidate will possess 10+ years of related MEP design engineering experience and a strong desire to grow, collaborate, and innovate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping, while mentoring junior/mid-level MEP engineering professionals.
  • Support proposal efforts and interface with clients to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Design projects will span across multiple markets and geographies, providing opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets related to building systems design.
  • Work independently and efficiently through various design stages, from concept plans to construction documentation.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of related MEP experience.
  • Proficient with relevant software, such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM.
  • Experience mentoring and training employees.
  • Experience leading projects, supporting proposal efforts, and interfacing with clients.
  • PE license is a strong plus; EIT certification preferred with plans on obtaining PE license in near future.
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, with a positive attitude, and self-motivated to produce high-quality work.
  • Ability and desire to learn and grow professionally.

Compensation and Benefits

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge, and experience.

Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Senior Mechanical Engineer with a salary range of $99,000 to $157,000.

Additional cash incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits dependent on position offered.
