Duties and Responsibilities


  • Understand complex business requirements and translate them into technical solutions on the Salesforce platform.
  • Design, develop, and maintain custom Salesforce applications using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura Components, Visualforce, and other Salesforce technologies.
  • Use Apex triggers, classes, controllers, and asynchronous processing (batch apex, future methods, queueable apex) to implement complex business logic
  • Develop Lightning Web Components (LWC) for custom UI components and user interfaces, leveraging JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and Apex.
  • Integrate Salesforce with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, and other integration techniques.
  • Customize the Salesforce data model, including creating custom objects, fields, relationships, and record types to support business processes.
  • Configure and customize Salesforce features such as workflows, validation rules, process builder flows, and approval processes to automate business processes.
  • Perform unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing of Salesforce solutions to ensure high quality and reliability
  • Optimize Salesforce performance by analyzing and optimizing SOQL queries, Apex code, and data model design.
  • Manage security settings, profiles, permission sets, and role hierarchy.



Education, Skills, and Attributes


  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of development experience with Salesforce technologies such as Apex, Visualforce, Lightning, Salesforce APIs
  • Experience with traditional front-end, back-end, and database technologies preferred (but not required)
  • Experience with Git, Gearset, and other CI/CD pipelines
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies
  • Saleforce.com administration and developer certifications preferred.
