ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Sr. Ecommerce Manager, Amazon, you will drive the success of our business across our partner sites, with focus on Amazon US + Canada. Your primary objective will be to drive sales to achieve net revenue targets, optimize digital content on brand pages & product listings, enhance the overall customer shopping journey for a prestige beauty brand, agency management, and PnL management. You will collaborate with internal & external cross-functional teams, including operations, digital, marketing, and sales to ensure a seamless and profitable business. This role requires experience with digital capabilities of retail platforms, understanding of Amazon's ecosystem, excellent analytical skills, and a strategic mindset.

This is a Temporary role and will be based in our Calabasas office, and we offer a hybrid working pattern of 3 days in the office and 2 days WFH.



JOB ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Account Management

  • Develop and execute strategies to drive sales growth, increase market share and brand awareness on the retail landscape with focus on Amazon US + Canada.
  • Stay up to date with Amazon's policies, guidelines, and best practices to ensure compliance and maximize visibility.

Marketing

  • Collaborate with retailer marketing teams to develop and implement targeted custom programs w focus on Amazon’s AMS & DSP campaigns.
  • Create initiatives that leverage retailer CRM database & organic traffic to bring greater brand awareness to ghd.

Merchandising

  • Optimize product listings and brand pages by ensuring accurate and compelling product descriptions, images, keywords, and categorization, as well as A/B Content testing.
  • Conduct regular keyword research to identify relevant search terms and improve organic search rankings.
  • Monitor competitor listings and pricing to maintain an advantage and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Identify opportunities for new product launches, product bundles, and cross-selling to maximize revenue potential and brand awareness.

Inventory Management

  • Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure adequate inventory levels and timely order fulfillment on Amazon.
  • Monitor and manage inventory health metrics, such as stock levels, lead times, and fulfillment rates, to minimize stock-outs and maximize sales opportunities.
  • Implement strategies to minimize excess inventory and improve inventory turnover.

Enhance Customer Experience

  • Monitor and respond to customer reviews, questions, and feedback to enhance the overall customer experience on Amazon.
  • Implement strategies to increase positive customer reviews, ratings, and seller performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.

Analysis

  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as sales, conversion rates, and customer reviews, to identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate sales, marketing, and operational performance to senior management.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.



QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Proven experience (5-10+ years) in e-commerce, with a focus on managing Amazon accounts and driving sales.
  • Experience with Amazon's platform, tools, and policies, including Vendor Central, Advertising Console, and Brand Analytics.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data, generate insights, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Excellent understanding of search engine optimization (SEO) principles and experience with keyword research tools.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Detail-oriented mindset and the ability to ensure accuracy and compliance with Amazon's guidelines and policies.
