Global Account Sales Manager | Brazed & Fusion Bonded Heat Exchangers
Our client is a leading global provider of first-rate products in the areas of heat transfer, separation and fluid handling. They enhance the productivity and competitiveness of their customers in various industries throughout the world with sustainable products and solutions that meet their requirements – mainly in energy, the environment, food and the marine industry.
The Global Account Sales Manager (GASM) will be responsible for driving sales of Brazed & Fusion Bonded Heat Exchangers within Global Accounts located in North America. Responsibilities including supporting the Central Global Account Managers with sales growth activities, identifying new trends and opportunities within the HVAC, Refrigeration and Industrial markets, act as liaison with local customer service & operations and manage the OEM subsidiaries of the Global Accounts.
JOB DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create long-term relationships & partnerships with Global Accounts
- Technical understanding of customer applications; ability to link the customer demand to product development
- Work closely with our European central organization and collaborate sales activities to drive growth
- Ensure a business culture with a high level of customer centricity exists, includes being flexible and transparent to support customers with prompt and accurate information
- Be creative and driving market demand for Brazed Heat Exchanger products
- Responsible for multiple financial KPI’s
- Act as liaison with Customer Service to insure high level of customer satisfaction
- Support activities related to forecasting, pricing, agreements, claims, etc.
- Work close with leadership in Operations to understand capacity needs and support the operations team to improve forecasting and demand planning
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND CERTIFICATION/REGISTRATION DESIRED
- Education (degree or years) and/or Certification/Registration:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering preferred; Bachelor’s degree in another discipline complemented with relevant experience required.
- Technical experience in HVAC & Refrigeration applications and markets is preferred.
- 5 – 7 years progressively responsible sales management experience, including working with operation teams and business development experience. Strong understanding of financial management concepts and business systems; and strong computer skills required
- Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Attributes Desired in Candidate: Strong leadership skills. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to direct personnel in team direction to accomplish specific goals. Ability to coordinate inter-activity between all departments and make decisions based on available data and instinct. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
