Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Database Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database development and management, with expertise in T-SQL, SQL Server, Oracle Database, and SQL. As a Senior Database Developer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing database solutions to meet the needs of our clients and support our business operations.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using T-SQL, SQL Server, Oracle Database, and SQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Develop efficient database queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers to support application development and data analysis.
  • Optimize database performance through query optimization, indexing, and database tuning.
  • Implement and maintain database security measures to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of database schemas, configurations, and processes.
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and technologies in database development and management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in database development and management.
  • Strong proficiency in T-SQL, SQL Server, Oracle Database, and SQL.
  • Experience with database design, normalization, and optimization.
  • Solid understanding of database security best practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, Oracle Database SQL Certified Associate) preferred.
