The Role
The Director, Fidelity Brokerage HR Workforce Insights & Analytics is responsible for delivering insights that help inform strategic decision making regarding our workforce. This role will play a critical role to execute on key foundational projects in alignment with the Fidelity Brokerage Workforce Strategy. You will perform both ad-hoc and in-depth analysis, collaborating with multiple stakeholders to understand business challenges that can be resolved using analytics. You will define, interpret, and clarify the scope of problems/issues identifying required data needs and analysis and use your knowledge and experience to help tell the story through data.
Detailed Job Responsibilities:
- Leverages data to solve the most complex strategic, tactical, structured, and unstructured business problems.
- Uncovers deep insights and helps the organization understand how to leverage them for better business results.
- Deliver custom complex analytics and executive materials to drive data-driven workforce decisions.
- Collaborating with cross functional groups to further inform analytic goals.\u00A0
- Serves as a coach and mentor to other team members.\u00A0
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 5-7 years of relevant experience in analytics
- Demonstrated expertise in data sourcing, integration & automation (e.g., Alteryx, SQL); familiarity with Python/R a plus.
- Strong understanding of databases and data structures
- Strong ability to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Understanding of data modeling and decision support concepts, and working experience with descriptive statistics.
- Expertise in visualization design and dashboard development (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, etc)
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple concurrent objectives or activities while meeting deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and quality, and a high degree of comfort with detailed processes and data while working in sometimes ambiguous situations.
- Collaborative, self-motivated, and proactive team player, who possesses tact & discretion with delivering analysis findings.
- Curious and confident learner who asks questions and looks for innovative solutions.
The Team
As a member of the Fidelity Brokerage HR Workforce, Planning and Analytics team, you will be part of a team that provides human capital analytics, reporting and insights for Fidelity Brokerage. This role is an important part of the team delivering high impact HR data analytics and visualization.

Fidelity's working model blends the best of working offsite with maximizing time together in person to meet associate and business needs. Currently, most hybrid roles require associates to work onsite all business days of one assigned week per four-week period (beginning in September 2024, the requirement will be two full assigned weeks).
