OBJECTIVE: The Portfolio Manager for Georgia and East Tennessee is someone who has a passion for the wine & spirits industry and a proven aptitude for sales. Those with an entrepreneurial mindset will excel in this role. This role will be the face of the R.S. Lipman spirits portfolio with Georgia and East Tennessee. The Portfolio Manager will lead the local execution of R.S. Lipman’s sales and marketing strategies to exceed sales targets. This role will work closely with distributor personnel to identify and leverage sales opportunities in the on and off premise, and ensure our brands become the brands of choice.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and maintain specific target accounts list to grow the RS Lipman spirits portfolio in designated territory.
  • Drive new placements and increase market share through securing new “Points of Distribution” in key independent retail and on-premise accounts.
  • Plan and execute consumer events to acquire new business, expose the brand and grow sales.
  • Serve as brand/category product knowledge expert. Have expert knowledge on competitor brands and conduct competitive analysis.
  • Provide consumer, channel, and competitive insights. Use insights to collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to develop innovative programs and ideas.
  • Increase cocktail placements within influential accounts.
  • Identify iconic/key accounts & develop account performance & activation plans.
  • Educate the consumer and trade through direct interaction including providing brand expertise/training at consumer, and key account level.
  • Calculates ROI for programs within the territory and reports updates to the team weekly.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Dynamic and creative storyteller with previous sales experience within the adult beverage industry.
  • Impeccable time management.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Must have a valid Driver's License, reliable transportation, and be able to drive/travel through the designated market area.
  • Proven experience working with alcohol beverage brands and interest in investing in the continued development of RS Lipman brands while building meaningful relationships with top accounts in both on-premise and off-premise.
  • 2+ years of Spirits/wine/Beer sales experience with a proven track record of territory growth and development
  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred (or analogous industry experience/skills).

What You’ll Do:

As the Portfolio Manager, you will be the face of the R.S. Lipman spirits portfolio, representing the O.H. Ingram River Aged, Cielo Tequila, Heroes Vodka and Old Hickory Bourbon brands in key markets, working directly with our distributor partners in Georgia and East Tennessee.
