Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automation Project Manager to join our client's team in Lenoir, NC. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, mechanical/electrical engineering, and experience in writing equipment specifications. This role will focus on driving capital project specifications and implementing effective automation engineering solutions.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee manufacturing automation projects from initiation to completion.
  • Develop, write, and review equipment specifications for capital projects.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
  • Provide technical guidance and support for automation engineering solutions.
  • Conduct project progress meetings and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management, preferably in manufacturing or automation settings.
  • Proven experience in writing equipment specifications and managing capital projects.
  • Strong understanding of automation technologies and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
