Daily Snapshot:

Team Leadership and Development:
  • Develop and lead an effective shift maintenance team to meet department goals
  • Plan, organize, and direct work team members
  • Select staff, coach performance, and conduct EP&D sessions
  • Provide training, development opportunities, and ongoing support for maintenance shift leads
  • Focus on new employee development, career growth, continuing education, and safety/health issues
Equipment and Process Management:
  • Ensure the reliable operation of departmental equipment
  • Implement process changes to improve reliability and reduce costs
  • Collect, record, and analyze data for decision-making
  • Conduct periodic reviews of the qualification program and modify as needed
  • Ensure preventive maintenance programs and cost control systems are established and sustained
  • Provide support for Equipment and Design Engineering as required
Safety and Compliance:
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental training programs
  • Assist in developing and implementing departmental safety policies and procedures
  • Respond to emergency situations and resolve problems
Administrative Responsibilities:
  • Assist in preparing departmental budgets and monitor operating costs as needed
  • Provide direction and participate in maintaining a clean, organized work area
  • Ensure quality and continuous improvement within the job scope
  • Fulfill responsibilities as directed by the VP of Operations
