Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Game Room Attendant to join our team at Colonial Downs Group LLC. As a Game Room Attendant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining a clean and safe gaming environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide next-level guest service to internal and external guests, demonstrating a strong understanding of our company culture and values.
  • Ensure compliance with approved procedures, including responsible gaming practices and internal controls.
  • Maintain the electronic components, systems, and peripherals of HHR machines, performing preventive maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
  • Ensure gaming devices are operating properly, promptly calling for technical or supervisory assistance when necessary.
  • Perform general cleaning tasks, including carpets, windows, gaming machines, and restrooms, to maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Follow checklists and guidelines, adhering to OSHA and Hazcom safe work practices for efficient and clean operation of assigned areas in the Game Room.
  • Maintain complete confidentiality of company and guest information.
  • Resolve problems that are within the position's scope of authority and recommend courses of action to resolve problems that are beyond the scope of authority to the position's supervisor.
Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED certificate, plus six months to one year of work experience; other combinations of education and experience may be considered.
  • Ability to work in an environment exposed to secondhand smoke, moderate to loud noise levels, and varied light levels, including flashing lights.
  • Must be able to read gaming floor glass and pay table information and be able to recall vital game histories.
  • Must exhibit strong customer service skills and a positive attitude.
