Administrative Assistant

Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to three partners.
  • Manage incoming phone calls, coordinate schedules, and ensure outstanding client communication.
  • Act as a secondary point of contact for firmwide inquiries.
  • Handle general office tasks such as photocopying and document scanning.
  • Input and manage data in the firm’s proprietary database system.
  • Assist in registering partners for conferences and speaking engagements, including event preparation and follow-up.
  • Prepare and submit expense reports on behalf of partners.
  • Support marketing efforts by maintaining and updating the firm’s eblast contact list.
  • Assist with special projects and assignments delegated by partners.

Requirements and Skills:

  • Demonstrated experience as an administrative assistant (experience in a law firm preferred).
  • Bachelor's or associate degree strongly preferred.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and thrive in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment, both independently and collaboratively.
  • Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and a quick learner with other technology platforms.

Notes:

  • Position is based in our Columbus Office, supporting one Columbus-based partner and two Cleveland-based partners.
  • Hybrid work model: During the training period, full-time office attendance is required for five days a week. After training completion, the role transitions to a hybrid schedule, with two days remote and three days in the office.
