We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Technical Project Manager to lead the end-to-end implementation of an AI solution for a major retail client, leveraging Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies, specifically Gemini and VertexAI. This role requires a strategic leader who can seamlessly integrate cross-functional teams, manage project lifecycles, and ensure successful delivery within budget and time constraints.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Proven experience in technical project management, specifically leading AI solution implementations within the retail industry.
  • Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services and technologies, with expertise in Gemini and VertexAI.
  • Familiarity with related technologies such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn, as well as data processing frameworks like Apache Beam and Apache Spark.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to develop project plans, manage budgets, and drive cross-functional teams to achieve project goals.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal teams, external vendors, and client stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving project-related issues and risks.
  • Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are a plus, as well as relevant certifications in Google Cloud Platform.


Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for the implementation of an AI solution at a large retail customer, utilizing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) technologies, specifically Gemini and VertexAI.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, AI engineers, software developers, and business stakeholders, to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation to ensure timely and successful project delivery within budget constraints.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client, providing regular project updates, addressing concerns, and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, proactively identifying and mitigating potential obstacles to project success.
  • Coordinate with GCP technical experts and consultants to leverage best practices and optimize the use of Gemini and VertexAI tools and services.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering sessions, design workshops, and solution architecture discussions to ensure alignment with customer needs and technical feasibility.
  • Monitor project progress and performance metrics, tracking key milestones, deliverables, and KPIs to assess project health and drive continuous improvement.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to project team members, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.
