This is a full-time temporary position with the potential to convert to full-time employee (Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm)

Responsibilities:

-Inspect incoming parts, in-process, and assembled devices to ensure quality is within set parameters
-Respect and enforce the principles of full traceability for products and components
-Collaborate with the Quality Engineering and Engineering departments as needed to assist in the validation of components/finished goods
-Maintain clean and organized work areas

Desired Background/Skills:

Required skills and experience:
-Motivated and looking to grow professionally in a fast-paced environment.
-Strong analytical skills, and excellent knowledge of theoretical and practical quality control fundamentals.
-Technical associate’s degree; or 1-3+ years of equivalent education and professional experience
-Experience with calipers, comparators and micrometers
-Experience utilizing blueprints and/or drawings as part of the inspection process
-Experience in lab and/or manufacturing environments

Nice to have skills:
-Experience with printed circuit board (PCB) inspections is preferred
-Proficiency with basic Microsoft Excel formulas
-Experience with data reporting and non-conformance reports (NCRs)
-Experience with OGP Smartscope vision measurement systems
-Medical device and clean room experience
