Construction Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist 


Sundance Architectural Products is currently seeking an experienced Construction Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist to support the day-to-day operational activities of our accounts receivables functions. This role ensures that all transactions are recorded promptly and accurately per internal accounting policies.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Invoicing: Create and distribute invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to billing terms.
  • Payment Processing: Verify, record, and post payments received from customers. Conduct customer collection calls and handle billing inquiries.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Review Contracts, Notarize documents, request lien releases from rental companies, file Notices to Owners on projects, and file liens on projects if necessary.
  • Pay Apps and Billing Management: Process all contractor pay apps, scan and organize pay apps electronically into contractor billing portals, and enter pay app billings into internal accounting software.
  • Financial Reporting: Maintain Sales Journal, prepare Work in Progress (WIP) reports for CPA, prepare billing documents for CPA review, and update Customer Compliance annually.
  • Software Management: Maintain and update data in billing software platforms such as Textura, Procore, PMWeb, GPay, and other relevant systems.


Job Details/Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Construction Accounts Receivable Clerk or similar role, with a strong understanding of construction accounts receivable functions and billing processes.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Quickbooks Online, Procore, etc.) and familiarity with construction billing portals and customer billing platforms.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to handle customer inquiries and collection calls professionally.
  • Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and timeliness in financial record-keeping.
  • Knowledge of contract billing, lien processes, and compliance requirements is a plus. 
  • Prior construction billing experience is strongly preferred.
  • Pay Range: $25-$29 per hour
  • Hybrid WFH Potential: After the probation/training period, there is potential for hybrid work-from-home arrangements.
