Responsibilities
Our In-Office Internship Program offers a unique opportunity to contribute to various aspects of our full-service business law firm.
Our interns work side by side with department heads and professionals to provide a superior level of service for our internal and external clients in one of the most beautiful and iconic buildings in Downtown Jacksonville Given your career focus, you may work within a variety of departments: Legal Services and Support Staff, Marketing Team, Firm Culture & Events, Accounting, HR, and IT.
Our Internship Program provides the best and brightest Undergrad students the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects and make meaningful networking connections.
Talent Acquisition and Recruiting Intern:
- Conduct market research to identify potential talent pools and effective recruiting strategies.
- Develop compelling job descriptions and posting templates for open and future job opportunities.
- Post job openings on various platforms, including Indeed.com, LinkedIn, and other relevant job boards.
- Manage and track applications, ensuring a smooth and efficient applicant tracking system.
- Source candidates for Senior Recruiters to interview.
- Schedule and conduct initial interviews, using structured interview questions and evaluation criteria.
- Evaluate candidates and prepare detailed profiles and recommendations for the hiring team.
- Assist in content creation and events for the Culture and Events committee.
- Develop and maintain documentation and reporting systems for recruitment activities.
- Prepare weekly progress reports and present findings to the Talent Acquisition and Recruiting team.
Position Requirements
Education Requirements
- Candidate should be enrolled in an accredited college or university and pursuing the following degree/majors: Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Must commit to a minimum of 20 hours of work (weekly).
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic understanding of recruitment and hiring principles.
- Superb verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
