  • Legal Specialist monitors proceedings, prepares and files procedural and regulatory filings, calculates and calendars deadlines for procedural and regulatory filings, and assists in administering Market Participant registration matters including assisting with the client membership registration process. Assists with Client Board of Directors meetings on an as needed basis.
  • Requires minimum 2 years applicable/job related work experience in excess of degree requirements.
  • JOB DUTIES:
  • Assists the client Legal Department with myriad matters concerning regulatory filings and monitoring, and Market Participant registration
  • Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained
  • Must be comfortable working on assignments that are often routine in nature while maintaining a high rate of accuracy
  • Must have great attention to detail
  • Contributes to specific objectives and outcomes as directed
  • EDUCATION:
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • or a combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge to a major in such fields is required.
