We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated BAS Controls Technician to join our dynamic team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology and play a key role in implementing and maintaining building automation systems that improve energy efficiency, occupant comfort, and overall building performance.


Key Responsibilities: Tech III & Tech IV

- Perform installation, programming, and commissioning of Building Automation Systems (BAS), including HVAC, lighting, and security systems.

-Must have experience with Tridium Niagara, Alerton, Siemens or Distech Controls experience.

- Troubleshoot and diagnose complex technical issues related to BAS controls, using advanced knowledge of control systems, protocols, and networks.

- Develop and implement control strategies to optimize system performance and energy efficiency.

- Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to ensure timely and successful completion of projects.

- Conduct on-site training for end-users and facility staff on BAS controls operation and maintenance.

- Maintain accurate records of all system configurations, changes, and upgrades.

- Perform regular preventive maintenance on BAS systems, identifying and addressing potential system failures before they occur.

- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and technological advancements to continuously improve our services and solutions.

Qualifications:

- High School Diploma or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of experience working with commercial BAS systems.

- Experience with BAS programming languages such as BACnet, LON, Modbus, and Niagara is required.

- Proven experience with various BAS products, including Tridium, Schneider Electric, Honeywell, Johnson Controls, and Siemens.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

- Proficient in reading and interpreting building plans and schematics.

- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel to customer sites as needed.
