Per Diem Medical Retina Ophthalmologist

Openings in Fontana, Los Angeles, Orange County, Panorama City, Western Ventura, and Woodland Hills, California

· Fontana: Outpatient position with possible surgical time for cataracts, pterygiums, and blepharoplasty. Shifts are very flexible and hours range from 7am-5pm 7am-1pm, or 1pm-5pm.

· Los Angeles: Outpatient position with possible consults from ED to the clinic for evaluation. Cataracts, pterygiums, and blepharoplasty surgery available if interested. The position also requires laser procedures such as Argon and YAG laser, and glaucoma evaluations.

· Orange County : Openings available at Mission Viejo and Santa Ana offices. The physician may be needed to cover both locations. The schedule is regular, day shift hours. At least 1 half day on Saturday per month is required. This is an outpatient only role, seeing about 3-4 patients/hour. No overnight call duties. Medical Retina or Vitreoretinal fellowship is required.

· Panorama City: Standard office-based position. The candidate will conduct office-based procedures such as YAG laser and eyelid lesion biopsy. The candidate may choose to work out of the Santa Clarita Medical Offices or at the Panorama City Medical Center. The office hours are 7:30am-5:30am, or 8:30am-5:00pm. Hours are very flexible along with the shift commitment.

· Woodland Hills and Ventura : Outpatient work during day shift hours with 210 bookable minutes in a 4-hour period. Candidate will need to be able to perform injections and high-volume cataract surgery with specialty lenses. Medical Retina or vitreoretinal surgery fellowship is required.

Per diem rate is up to $200/hour. Salaries are dependent on skills, competencies, and geographic locations. Per Diem Opportunities are non-benefited positions, offer  flexible schedules, and a competitive hourly rate. Must have CA medical license and paid DEA certificate.
