In this role, you will performs Non-Destructive testing utilizing x-ray liquid penetrants, magnetic particle, Eddy current and ultrasonic techniques as certified (FARS, RSM, SBs, Ads, etc.). You will also evaluate inspection data, interpret inspection findings/results, and record inspection results on approved documents.

What You Will Do

Set up and standardizes equipment, conducts tests, interprets and evaluates for acceptance or rejection, and documents results. Conduct system performance checks in accordance with the applicable process standard. Provide appropriate guidance and/or supervision to trainees, Level 1, or Level 1 “Limited” personnel in the technique/method within their certification. Develop and document NDT work instructions. Obtain Responsible Level 3 approval for all NDT work instructions. Pass written and physical exams for each specific NDT method. Pass recertification exam on a 5 year interval.

Qualifications You Must Have

HS diploma with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience. In the absence of a HS diploma or GED, 3 years of relevant experience is required. U.S. Person (U.S. citizen, permanent resident, or granted refugee or asylee status) as defined here:

Qualifications We Prefer

Product manufacturing and inspection technologies. Experience with the scope and limitations of the technique/method within the applicable certification. Experience with codes, standards, and other contractual documents.
