The athletic trainer is the liaison between the patient and/or parents, the medical doctors or their support staffs, the medical assistant, athletes, coaches and contracted outreach community. Prevention of Athletic Injuries: Design and Implement Prevention programs. Job Knowledge: Understanding of job duties, know how in performing assigned tasks. Ambition/Initiative: Willingness to put forth effort in starting an activity, contribute to new ideas or seek improvement. This position is based directly with Loretto High School (LHS).

Qualifications
Job Requirements Minimum Education
□ Graduate of a Program in Discipline, Bachelor's Degree Required Minimum Education
□ Master's degree preferred Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Required Skills
Certifications:
X Basic Life Support (BLS) □ Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) □ Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) □ Neonatal Resuscitation Provider (NRP) □ Perioperative Nurse (CNOR) □Other__________________________ □Other_________________________
Must be NATA BOC Certified and possess or be in the process of acquiring licensing certification or registration From the state of Tennessee. Required Skills
Licenses: Current and active Athletic Trainer license in the state of Tennessee.
