DESCRIPTION

 

The Director of Admissions & Marketing will create and maintain relationships with potential referral sources including hospitals, GCM, Physician Groups, Home Care Agencies, ALF’s Senior Centers, Hospice Agencies, and Edler Service Agencies. 

  • Review referrals for clinical appropriateness with guidance from the Regional Nurse as needed
  • Maintain a log of all referrals
  • Perform insurance verifications
  • Perform funds assessment with responsible party
  • Complete Billing Verification Forms
  • Enter new admissions in Point Click Care
  • Maintain Bed Board Assure Room Readiness
  • Assure equipment is in pace for new residents
  • Notify the Team of all planned admissions and returns
  • Distribute forms/paperwork prior to admission and upload to PCC
  • Complete admission sign-in paperwork with all new admissions
  • Represent the facility in community marketing and networking events
  • Maintain Marketing Log
  • Conduct marketing meetings with management team
  • Provide Admissions/Marketing Data for monthly QAPI meetings
  • Other duties as assigned

 

QUALIFICATIONS

 

  • High School diploma
  • Undergraduate degree preferable in marketing, public relations, or related studies
  • 2+ years of long-term care experience preferred
  • Knowledge of insurance programs preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
