Hours: Monday – Friday, will be working an 8hr shift between the business hours of 7am – 7pm. Occasional Saturdays may be required depending on business need.

Location: CONKLIN ST STE D FARMINGDALE, NY

Primary Responsibilities:

Enter prescriptions from intake to order completion and verify member / patient dataContact patients, pharmacists, and doctor's offices as a liaison for the pharmacy teamCommunicate clearly and concisely via phone and electronic methods to patients, physicians, and other healthcare providersContact patients to complete refill assessments, request payment information, establish delivery details, and set up treatment in the Ambulatory Infusion Suite and/or other outpatient facilitiesAccess, input, and retrieve prescription and medical/lab information from computer systemVerify whether medication is reimbursable, and resolve rejected claimsProcess prescription refills and interpret supply needs as related to various therapiesResolve customer issues, ensuring accurate information is providedAble to multitask and channel communication from various business partners, driving patient centric quality careFollow all State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures, adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality code of ethics

Required Qualifications:

High School Diploma / GED (or higher) OR 4+ years of experience working as a Pharmacy TechnicianIntermediate level of experience with Windows PC applications including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applicationsAbility to stand, walk, and lift to 30 lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)Previous Home Infusion experiencePharmacy/prescription data entry experience
