Departmental Information This role is part of the Technology department, which is made up of Software and Data Engineering, Application Support, IT and Infrastructure, and an assurance and governance team. The department delivers all aspects of Clarity's technology to our customers and employees.
Purpose of the role overviewThe Information & Technical Assurance Analyst role helps Clarity to continue to meet our levels of information governance and data compliance within the business systems and processes across all business functions. As part of a small team, this role will help support, facilitate and ensure governance and provide relevant support to business areas in assuring our customers that Clarity adheres to all relevant practices relating to information security, governance and best practices.
You will be supporting the technical, compliance and product teams through the creation and maintenance of a customer-facing documentation library. 


Accountabilities Support our provision of an effective Information Assurance, Governance and Compliance service specifically in relation to:Managing responses to customer requests for information/ assurance
Data Governance processes Data Protection Impact Assessments
Information Asset Risk Assessments
A key element of the role is to collaborate with the key stakeholders to complete security questionnaires from both customers and suppliers
 Create and maintain documentation including but not limited to product, DPIAs and user guides.

  • Knowledge and experience of Data privacy regulations and their practical application
  • Broad understanding of the security implications of digital delivery
  • Effective stakeholder engagement
  • Organisational skills, able to prioritise and self-manage workload
  • Strong written skills
  • Basic systems analysis skills would be beneficial
