Marcus & Millichap Seattle’s top retail/net lease team located in Seattle seeks a talented Transaction Coordinator with real estate transaction experience. We are looking for a bright individual interested in advancing their career by joining a successful and growing commercial real estate brokerage team. Potential candidates should have strong communication skills (written and verbal) as well as good phone manner and a professional demeanor. Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is essential. Candidate should be comfortable working in a busy, corporate sales environment. Nature & Scope The Transaction Coordinator is responsible for the following: generate LOI’s/Purchase & Sale Agreements, manage all escrows for properties under contract by the team, and oversee all document collection from sellers/buyers during the listing process. This includes oversight of the day-to-day deliverables as called for under purchase agreements and ensuring necessary parties involved are aware of all deadlines.

Responsibilities:

Prepare Purchase and Sale Agreements, Letters of Intent, Due Diligence Requests, Receipt of Documents, Estoppel/SNDA/Right of First Refusal requests Work with escrow/title or attorneys to move the transaction forward by generating the appropriate contracts as directed by Senior Agent  Follow up with buyer/seller/other broker teams during the due diligence period obtaining necessary documents Perform follow up with escrow/title or attorneys, buyers, sellers, and/or other broker teams to get all documents completed by contract due dates  Coordinate property site visits/inspections with buyer/seller, tenants, and 3rd party vendors.  Notify tenants of new ownership once a transaction has closed. Read through and double-check to ensure all contracts are complete and fully executed and are in compliance with Marcus & Millichap policies before moving them to the next party or file Read all non-Marcus & Millichap contracts to ensure compliance with Marcus & Millichap policies  Track status and required action for active listings and under contract transactions Maintain files for pending proposals and closed listings Gain a full knowledge of Marcus & Millichap contracts and their proper use  Gain a full knowledge of the brokerage continuum  Keep organized, complete transaction files in accordance with state DRE requirements  Keep a detailed email folder in Outlook for every transaction  In slower times, assist Agents, and team with administrative tasks and provide administrative support as required Brokerage support, including proofing and editing marketing packages for superior quality in adherence to the M&M editorial style guide Assist with local public relations activities including press releases Print, bind and distribute proposals and Offering Memorandums as required Draft outgoing correspondence as required

Required Knowledge and/or Experience

Real Estate Transaction Coordination experience (commercial preferred, residential acceptable, minimum 20+ transactions coordinated/managed) Highly detail oriented, organized, and versatile/flexible with the ability and willingness to take on new responsibilities and tasks as requested Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with people of all personality types Excellent writing and editing skills, , spelling, grammar, punctuation Ability to maintain strict confidentiality
