Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:30 am - 5 pm (on-site, full-time)  
Pay: $30- $34 hourly  
*This position will start as a 6 month role with an opportunity for a permanent position, dependent on the department's workload. You will still be entitled to all the benefits of a permanent employee (Health, Dental, PTO, Paid Holidays)

Job Description:
As a Marketing Designer at Gaia, you will play a crucial role in our marketing department, supporting day-to-day design needs from various departments and upper management. Our current Marketing Designer is shifting focus to big-picture strategic projects, and we're looking for a talented designer to step in and manage the creative design tasks. Your creativity and technical skills will be integral in shaping our brand's visual identity and storytelling. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize Adobe InDesign (entry to mid-level) to create catalogs for future products.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in Adobe Illustrator (freehand, not Procreate) for creating motion graphics and illustrations.
  • Employ Adobe Photoshop to edit and enhance room scenes, including rearranging and cleaning up images.
  • Utilize 3D Max Pro to create 3D room scenes (Preferred).
  • Use Maya for product mock-ups.
  • Collaborate with various departments to understand design requirements and deliver creative solutions.
  • Ensure all designs align with the company's brand guidelines and messaging.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts (BFA), Design Studies (BA), or related field.
  • Masters in Digital Media preferred.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing your design work is required.
  • 3+ years of professional Marketing Design experience is preferred
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Proficiency in 3D design software like 3D Max Pro and Maya (Preferred).
  • Strong working knowledge of marketing across various social media platforms
  • Strong creative and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple design projects simultaneously.
  • Demonstrated creativity and an eye for detail.
