Job Summary

The Senior Provider Consultant for Advanced Practice Providers and Physicians collaborates with hiring leaders to support Physician and Advanced Practice Provider full-cycle recruitment needs. This includes strategies to identify top talent through professional associations, university relationships, fellows, alumni networking, and conferences, in addition to the recruitment of direct applicants.

The Sr. Provider Consultant will connect with Advanced Practice Providers and Physicians to recruit, and actively participate in the interviewing of applicants to provide input and recommendations to the hiring leaders. Will provide relevant information to candidates, ensuring a well-versed understanding of the opportunity, the organization, RVU’s, payor mix, and more. The Sr. Provider Consultant will be well versed in the organization’s total compensation package, with the ability to clearly communicate to all candidates

The Sr. Provider Consultant will leverage available technology solutions to ensure efficiencies in all processes within the applicant tracking system, and other platforms. The Sr. Provider Consultant will act as a brand ambassador within the community through collaboration with partners, ensuring strong community relationships are always maintained; this may include presentations to inspire future APP and Pre-Med students. This position will also be responsible for proposing new and innovative ideas to enhance processes, systems, and new hire experiences. This position will monitor industry specific trends and work with applicable parties on proposed changes as needed to adapt. The Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant will provide input into staffing strategies, recruitment, and retention programs and more, based on identified trends. Will lead and or contribute to process improvement initiatives to positively impact provider recruitment, on-boarding, acclimation, and assimilation to the organization. This position collaborates closely with many internal partners including but not limited to Hiring Leaders, Medical Directors, Medical Staff office, Provider Liaisons, and more. 

The Sr. Talent Acquisition Consultant will be well versed in Joint Commission and AHCA regulatory requirements related to employment and lead any process improvement and audit measures necessary. All assigned tasks will be in accordance with local, federal, and state employment laws, including but not limited to, ADA, FLSA, FMLA, the Civil Rights act of 1964, Workers Compensation and Unemployment. Responsible for performing job duties in accordance with mission, vision, and values and shared purpose of Tampa General Hospital.

This is a contracted position expected to last approximately 5 months.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Demonstrated proficiency in recruitment preferred.

Proficient use of Microsoft office products to analyze and communicate assigned project goals and objectives.

Demonstrates a high level of oral and written communication skills.
