JOB PURPOSE:

Lead content strategy, production and distribution of Acima’s public relations and B2B marketing communications efforts. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and execute content strategy that positions Acima as a thought leader and builds brand awareness. Lead public relations strategy and manage public relations agency. Work closely with marketing, business development, product and other teams to establish campaigns and stories that engage our target audience. Create and manage content calendar and distribution strategy across multiple channels. Plan, write and proof high-quality inbound marketing content (, blogs, case studies, white papers, “how to” guides, video scripts, etc.) Support the development of press releases and pitch briefs. Develop and execute strategies to advance the company’s brand in industry trade publications. Proactively monitor KPIs (traffic, engagement, leads, conversions) to recognize opportunities and communicate to key stakeholders; partner with analytics teams to create and optimize reporting. Monitor competitive landscape and proactively identify new opportunities.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years of experience in content marketing and/or public relations; B2B marketing communications experience preferred. Strong writing, editing and communication skills required. Experience managing agencies and/or vendors. Thrives working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple shifting priorities. Detail oriented, creative problem solver with a strong track record in project management. Understanding of SEO principles Ability to work in office 5 days a week.
