About this role

Onity is looking for a Senior Product Manager to serve in an exciting and high-impact role, owning and driving product lines in the Self Storage and Commercial Building markets. Join a growing and dynamic team, delivering world-class access solutions to a global customer base.

The Senior Product Manager will be responsible for maximizing sales, revenue, market share, and profit margins for the new Onity Passport/Self Storage product line and develop and lead comprehensive strategy on other commercial access solutions within the Onity portfolio, by conducting market research, collecting customer input, specifying product requirements, championing the development of new and enhanced products per company goals of growth, profit, and cash flow, and developing strategies and tactical plans to increase product adoption in the market.

This role and the team are based in Salem OR , consideration will be given to candidates who are able to work from any of our HUBS with an easy commute and in line with our hybrid work/life balance model.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the Self Storage and Commercial Lock product lines Lead the full product life cycle by developing, owning, and executing the strategic roadmap for the product line Survey and report new industry trends, technologies, competitive analysis, and other relevant data within the Hospitality and complementary segments Create and provide oral presentations on market analysis, business opportunities, and product line strategy Simultaneously coordinate multiple product developments and priorities with Sales and Engineering to meet market needs Collect, analyze, and communicate customer requirements for product development and recommend functional specification, appearance, technology basis, and cost goals for engineering Develop and write Business Opportunity Proposals, Marketing Requirements Documents, and tollgate presentations Provide product and market segment revenue forecasts and financial calculations, including Payback, ROI, and NPV Understand agile development methodologies and be able to write user stories, manage the sprint backlog, approve engineering development work and communicate releases to the organization Develop and execute new product introduction plans and collaborate with creation of sales collateral and new product-specific introductions Work with Sales to train and strategize efforts to ensure product sales match annual product revenue goals Ensure effective communication across functional departments regarding all aspects of the Onity product lines Develop compelling Go To Market Plans, including Channel & Reseller Strategy, to build and expand our Self Storage business

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree 5+ years of experience in Product Management; developing and implementing “go to market” strategies and in hardware and software products Travel at least 20% of the time domestic and international Proficient in MS Office Excellent communicator with the ability to influence decisions at all levels of the company

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or IT/technical Master’s degree in Business or related Experience in the Self Storage and/or Commercial Building space Experience building Channel Strategies that include Resellers and Channel Partners Superior presentation, written and verbal English communication skills. Listening skills that provide a complete understanding of customer needs Ability to successfully translate market needs into customer requirements that can be communicated and understood across functional departments Ability to work well across functions, demonstrating the following values: Curious, Passionate, Resourceful, Accountable, Teamwork, Committed, Open and Energizing
