Required Qualifications:

Desired Qualifications: 

Experience with Civics and US History Certification in additional subject areas with preference to English and Business Experience working in a Professional Learning Community. Possess innovative teaching techniques to work with at-risk and special needs students.

Job Description: 

Responsible for teaching four sections per trimester. Responsible for creating a classroom environment that challenges students to learn at high levels. Responsible for creating a classroom environment that values all students. Responsible to communicate with students, parents, staff, and administration. Responsible for creating lesson plans and instructional materials to meet the needs of each student. Responsible for establishing and maintaining standards of pupil behavior to achieve an effective learning community.

Physical Requirements and Work Environment: 

This position requires long periods of standing, sitting, and walking. The position requires occasional lifting of supplies and movement of classroom furnishings during the course of the school day.

Work Year and Salary:  24-25 school year, Per the MDMEA Agreement

Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, life, long-term disability, school retirement, and paid time off per the bargaining unit contract

Schedule: Position begins 2024-2025 School Year
