Requirements:
Valid occupational therapy licenses and certifications for New Jersey.
Relevant experience providing occupational therapy services in a school environment
Knowledge and experience with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and Child Study Teams.

Responsibilities:
Provide occupational therapy services.
Collaborate with the Child Study Team s administrative and medical staff.
Work under the supervision of the Board s Supervisor of Special Services.
Delivering therapy as specified in each student s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Developing measurable goals and objectives for each student s IEP.
Preparing summary statements regarding educational status.
Completing semiannual progress reports.
Consulting with teachers and team members to integrate theutic strategies into educational programs.
Conducting periodic initial evaluations and reevaluations of students performance and needs.
Participating in parent conferences as part of the team.
Providing inservice educational programs for staff development as needed.
Performing occupational therapy evaluations as recommended by the Child Study Team and approved
by the Director of Special Services.
