Position Summary

The Enrollment Operations staff in Sinclair’s Welcome Center, located on the first floor of Building 10 on the Dayton Campus, serves current and new students.Our highly trained team of enrollment experts are here to greet you, answer your questions, and provide academic and financial support and services to enrolled students so they may continue to make progress and succeed in their chosen academic goal.
The Enrollment Specialist, under the direction of the Program Director, Enrollment Operations, is responsible for the delivery of front-line enrollment service to students as part of the redesigned business model within the integrated Student Services Center.

The hourly pay rate for this position is $23.70 and has a maximum of 28 hours per week.

Act as the first line of student contact, solving issues, completing transactions and referring a predefined level of service to the home department supporting the Integrated Student Services Center. Deliver service through a variety of methods including in-person, inbound and outbound calls, responding to emails, and digital modalities Participate and meet required training and developmental expectations to ensure the high standards are consistent and accurate service to students is maintained Take direction from the Program Director of Enrollment Operations and the Manager of Training and Orientation, as well as the Lead Specialist Requirements Minimum of an Associate’s degree required Minimum of one year of customer service experience required; experience with student enrollment service areas preferred Excellent oral, written and presentation skills required Proficiency in working with and utilizing data, maintaining accurate data within information systems such as Colleague or software systems such as CRMs required Ability to work effectively as a team member required Ability to be sensitive to cultural diversity and demonstrate ability to communicate and interact effectively with a diverse student/customer population required Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret data within information systems and make independent decisions required Ability to enter data into information systems while maintaining a high level of accuracy is required Ability to take direction from leadership and meet expectations in a fast paced customer-oriented environment required.
