Pay Range: $27.79 - $40.81 USD hourly.

Purpose of Job:
Improves the overall health of the communities we serve by strategically developing learning content and materials to better the CHAS Health workforce as follows:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborates with other departments at all levels to plan, analyze, develop, and update learning content in a variety of formats and delivery methods.
Designs learning curriculums in line with company and department strategic plans and with a long term view of learning needs.
Develops interactive coursework for learners with different learning styles, varying the frequency, importance, difficulty and complexity of material as needed.
Uses advanced delivery methods and media such as video, distance learning, e-learning, and mobile learning for training, communications and assessments to enhance blended learning.
Evaluates modes of delivery to ensure training is engaging, practical, impactful, and cost effective.
Creates tools to evaluate instruction and comprehension of existing training curricula.
Conducts assessments to identify new development needs and makes recommendations accordingly.
Facilitates new hire orientation and other trainings as assigned.
Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, educational technology, instructional technology, or other academic discipline combined with at least one year of experience in instructional technology and course design required. Strong instructional design experience for all levels of learners, from onboarding to leadership required. Experience with e-learning, learning management systems, authoring tools and graphic design required. Facilitation and training experience preferred.
Skills: Computer skills required. Excellent organizational and time-management skills required. Excellent interpersonal,
verbal and written communication skills required. Excellent organization, detail-orientation and follow-up skills
required. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality required. Ability to work under tight time constraints, handle
high stress and changing priorities required. Knowledge of legal requirements affecting human resources functions
preferred. Valid driver’s license and insurance required. Commitment to supporting a safe, respectful, equitable, and
inclusive environment required.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to hear, use vision, stand, sit and be mobile. The employee will use hands to finger, handle or feel. Communicating occurs constantly throughout the day. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
