We are seeking a skilled and reliable Drywall Installer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in drywall installation and finishing, with a keen eye for detail and quality workmanship. You will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall to create smooth, finished surfaces that meet the specifications of the project.

Compensation:

$25 hourly

Responsibilities:
  • Drywall Installation: Measure, cut, and install drywall panels on walls and ceilings according to project specifications and blueprints.
  • Preparation: Prepare surfaces for drywall installation, including framing, insulation, and applying vapor barriers as needed.
  • Securing Panels: Use screws, nails, or adhesive to secure drywall panels to wooden or metal studs.
  • Finishing: Tape, mud, and sand drywall seams to achieve a smooth, even surface ready for painting or other finishing.
  • Repairs: Repair and patch existing drywall, addressing any imperfections or damage.
  • Tool Maintenance: Properly maintain and store tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Cleanup: Clean up job sites after completing work, disposing of waste materials and debris properly.
Qualifications:
  • Experience: Proven experience as a drywall installer, with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
  • Skills: Proficiency in using drywall tools and equipment, including hand tools and power tools.
  • Knowledge: Familiarity with drywall materials, techniques, and industry standards.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and quality, with an eye for detail.
  • Communication: Good communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members and clients.
  • Safety: Understanding of safety practices and the ability to work safely in various environments.
  • License/Certification: Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation; relevant certifications are a plus but not required.
