We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Risk Manager to join our client, a leading financial institution committed to managing risk effectively and safeguarding assets. As a Risk Manager, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks across various business operations. Position Overview:

As a Risk Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to protect the organization from potential risks and uncertainties. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify emerging risks, assess their potential impact, and develop proactive risk mitigation plans to enhance the organization's overall risk resilience.

Key Responsibilities:

- Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential risks across business units and processes.

- Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, controls, and action plans to minimize exposure to identified risks.

- Compliance Management: Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to risk management practices.

- Reporting: Prepare and present risk reports, findings, and recommendations to senior management, highlighting key risk areas and proposed risk mitigation measures.

- Crisis Management: Develop and implement crisis management plans to address and mitigate risks in emergency situations or unforeseen events.

- Training and Awareness: Provide training and guidance to employees on risk management best practices, policies, and procedures to enhance risk awareness and promote a culture of risk management throughout the organization.

Qualifications:

- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, compliance, or a related field within the financial services industry.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business, or a related discipline required; relevant certifications (e.g., CRM, FRM) are a plus.

Skills:

  - Strong knowledge of risk management principles, methodologies, and best practices.

  - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate risks effectively.

  - Proficient in regulatory requirements, compliance frameworks, and risk assessment tools.

  - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.

  - Detail-oriented with a proactive and solutions-focused approach to risk management.
