Job Location : Portland, Oregon (near PDX Airport)

Responsibilities

Oversee the management of technical instructors and administrative staff at the VAME Training Centre. Manage the FCC Budget and resource plan for the VAME Training Centre; engage in global budget planning and facilitate regional execution. Collaborate with VAME Service Directors, Managers, and various stakeholders to assess training development and delivery needs. Optimize internal and external resources to meet company training goals, including rescue training. Lead program design and development to build technical and safety competencies among instructors and technicians. Contribute to, review, and refresh global training vision and strategy based on sales, construction, and growth forecasts. Partner strategically with the department Director for future planning. Support the VAME Sales team in customer training needs, including contract review and customer presentations. Assist the Senior Director in developing training strategies and directions both regionally and globally; develop tools for global and regional forecasting, analyze data, and build business cases to meet targets.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent. 5- years of supervisory/management experience. Significant technical knowledge and experience. Preferred experience in training/education management.

Competencies

Understanding of the wind industry (preferred). Advanced project management skills. Essential behaviors: collaboration, servant leadership, optimism, safety, continuous improvement, flexibility, and customer focus. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
