Ambulatory Surgery Center of Stockton, is seeking a motivated OR Registered Nurse to join our team. StocktonSurgery Center i s a fast paced ASC environment committed to producing the highest quality work and experience for patients and their families.
Job Summary
The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology.
Qualifications:
Graduate of an approved school of nursing. Currently licensed in the CA state. CPR required, advanced life support certification required. One year experience required intra-operative setting. Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities. Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position.What We Offer

Required Skills:
EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Current CA Nursing License Current CPR, ACLS, and PALS Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Minimum 2 year experience in a hospital setting Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems and correct errors. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, hospital staff, physicians, vendors and the public. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptive to change, creativity and innovative. Excellent communication skills Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge base relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient Understands principles of aseptic technique and their implementation Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics Excellent teaching skills Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement ideologyRequired Experience:
*Experience working in an ASC is a plus.
