Job Title: Operating Room RN

Bass Surgery Center in Walnut Creek is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team in the Operating Room. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a safe and efficient surgical environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Understand and adhere to the Mission Statement of North Central Surgical Center
  • Determine data collection based on patient needs and proposed interventions
  • Address physiological, psychological, socio-cultural, and spiritual needs of patients
  • Prioritize tasks and demonstrate flexibility in a fast-paced environment
  • Work accurately and complete tasks efficiently
  • Follow AORN standards and guidelines
  • Function as a team member and contribute to a positive work environment
  • Maintain licenses and certifications
  • Adhere to dress code, attendance, punctuality, meal break, and rest periods
  • Communicate clearly and concisely with staff, physicians, patients, and families
  • Attend required department and hospital meetings
  • Assume responsibility for continuing education requirements
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Three years of experience in surgery
  • Current CA state RN License
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
  • Critical thinking skills and excellent communication skills
  • Knowledge of hospital policies and procedures specific to the Operating Room
  • Clinically proficient in OR nursing skills
