Primary Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and manage VMware Horizon View VDI environmentsAdminister VDI pools and address VDI-related issues promptly in support of end-usersMonitor VDI infrastructure performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal system performanceManage Wyse and Teradici thin clients including firmware updates Collaborate with stakeholders to deploy virtual desktops and appsPerform system updates, patches, and upgrades on a regular basisDevelop and implement VDI best practices and security protocolsCreate and maintain documentation for VDI configurations, policies, and proceduresParticipate in capacity planning and scalability assessments to accommodate growing business needsStay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies related to VDI and virtualizationYou’ll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.
Required Qualifications:
3+ years of experience in VMware VDI administrationExperience with Windows operating systems and Active DirectoryProficiency in VMware Horizon View and related VDI technologiesSolid understanding of virtualization concepts and best practicesKnowledge of storage and networking solutions including SAN/NAS technologiesExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsEffective communication and teamwork abilities Ability to work onsite at (John Muir) - Walnut Creek Medical Center, Walnut Creek, CA as needed

California Residents Only: The salary range for this role is $88, to $, annually.
