Our client is a leading formulator andmanufacturer of specialty coatings adhesives and sealants servingthe construction and industrial end markets. Our client has scaledrapidly through organic and acquisition growth into one of thelargest coatings adhesives and sealants companies in NorthAmerica.

We are actively recruitingfor a Technical Territory SalesManager for their waterproof deckcoating solutions division. These technologies offer variouswaterproof deck coatings designed for high traffic pedestrianbalconies roof decks walkways and stairs where waterproofing anddurability are essential. This position is responsible fortechnical excellence ensuring all customers are properly trained toinstall the product according to specifications inNorthernCalifornia. This person will be requiredto ensure ZERO specvariance is occurring with the installationof all of our products and systems. This technical Territory SalesManager will also need to create build and maintain relationshipswith current and prospective customers and assist them with growingdecking waterproofing business substantially through theirtechnical expertise. This position has a base pay range of 85K115Kplus bonus opportunity that pays out at 38K at 100% you are alsopaid on the variables above 100% allowing the opportunity for the38k to be doubled.

Inthis role you will be responsible for thefollowing:

  • Workpersonally with Distributors Architects Applicators and all currentand potential customers alike.
  • Develop contactsand prospects that ensure long termprofitability.
  • Increase territory sales andprofitability through existing accounts and newdevelopment.
  • Identify and communicate necessarychanges in regulations and industry standards in specificterritories.
  • Evaluate customer needs/issues andprovide solutions.
  • Teach demonstrate and trainexisting and new customers.
  • Verify speccompliancy by all applicators.
  • Providenecessary auxiliary onsite technical support as needed by thecompany and customers.
  • Keep Distributorsengaged and producing leads andsupport.
  • Maintain professional and technicalknowledge of products their specifications and safehandling.
  • Pursues training and developmentopportunities strive to continuously build knowledge andskills.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workenvironment.
  • Maintain a consistently high levelof performance and customersatisfaction.
  • Participate in special projectsas assigned.
  • Contribute to a team effort byaccomplishing related results as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years knowledge and hands onexperience in the application of construction trades specificallywaterproofing roofing and/or envelope.
  • Proventrack record of handson technical competency from initial contactthrough the completion of the project.
